Britt Fohrman
Britt Fohrman is devoted to creating a relaxing, welcoming and therapeutic environment for people in all life stages. Rather than approaching yoga as one more thing to do, she encourages you to find yoga as a way of being within your body, heart and mind.
While she’s been trained by world class teachers in Iyengar, Restorative, Perinatal, Therapeutic, Laughter Yoga as well as Viniyoga and Buddhist meditation, creativity, intuition and connection with her students inform her teaching the most. She is also an avid student of Pilates, physical therapy, dance and myriad embodiment practices that weave their way into her offerings.
In all of Britt’s classes, you are invited to unwind with slow, mindful pacing integrated with conscious breathing. Her approach is imbued with warmth, levity, realness and a reverence for the infinite ways our bodies teach us about being human.
Britt has taught yoga since 1997, and remains a devoted student of the practice and all those she works with. She is also a doula, birth educator, photographer, women’s circle and retreat facilitator.
